  • profile of participants: youth workers from the consortium organizations selected through an internal
    procedure of each of the partners
    Goals and results of the activity
  • To acquire skills and attitudes within the competence of learning to learn.
  • The training concept will generate a competence-based learning experience
  • The training concept will conceptualize training systems in which to promote youngsters’ sense
  • Youth workers will develop new professional skills for facilitating more flexible pathways of nonformal
    education process
  • The training will provide specialist guidelines on how to maintain young people’s motivation in
    learning and how to assist them in developing personal learning strategies.
  • Youth workers will master special information on the theoretical aspects of the competence of
    learning to learn, a wide range of activities with aims and objectives, and suggested methods to carry
    out the activities for the end target group. The training will take place in Timisoara, hosted by IREA,
    over a period of 6 days, after the completion of the second intellectual output.
    The orientative agenda of TC is:

Day 1
Introduction of the TC objectives, introduction of the Erasmus Plus Programme
Expectations towards the TC and the learning experience
IceBreaker Activities and Teambuilding activities
Day 2
Discussion on the manual- the draft manual. Practical contributions of participants to the manual- first 2 chapters- based on their own experience
in youth work
Day 3
Practical contributions of participants to the manual- last 3 chapters- based on their own experience
in youth work
Visit in the Community center of Obreja and meeting with the young people in the community
Day 4
A complementary vision of the manual- based on the contributions from the two preceding days,
youth workers will work in groups in order to propose methods to complete the manual

Simulation of the methodology - we will split in youth workers and young people
Continuation of the simulation
Day 6
Meeting with Youth workers from the youth organizations in Timisoara- exchange of good practices
Treasure Hunt in Timisoara
Day 7
Testing learning to learn methods in the community center of Bodo- Balint- 40 young people will
participate (from other rural communities as well), so that each participant youth worker in the
mobility will work with 2 youngsters- this experience will be related to communication skills
Day 8
Testing learning to learn methods in the community center of Fantanele- 30 young people will
participate (from other rural communities as well), so that each participant youth worker in the
mobility will work with 2 youngsters- this experience will be related to social skills
Day 9
Testing learning to learn methods in the community center of Teliuc- 30 young people will participate (from other rural communities as well), so that each participant youth worker in the mobility will work
with 2 youngsters- this experience will be related to entrepreneurial skills
Day 10
Conclusions on the effectiveness of the methods in the manual

Final evaluation
Self-evaluation will be a constant process in the TC and therefore each of the youth workers will be
able to appreciate at the end of the course what are the new competences he/she has acquired.
